The Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the commercial success of Norton Motorcycles across a designated region of the UK. Acting as the primary relationship manager for our authorised dealership network, you will work closely with sales partners to maximise motorcycle, parts, garments and accessories sales while ensuring the highest standards of brand representation and operational performance.
This is a highly collaborative, field-based position that requires regular travel to dealerships across the UK, alongside attendance at our Headquarters in Shirley, Solihull.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with Norton Motorcycles' authorised sales partners
- Manage dealership performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, operational standards and brand expectations
- Drive motorcycle sales performance across your allocated geographical territory
- Maximise sales of genuine Norton parts, garments and accessories through the dealer network
- Monitor, analyse and report dealership sales activities in line with agreed reporting standards
- Prepare and present KPI reports and supporting performance documentation for senior management
- Identify performance improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with dealerships to implement effective action plans
- Identify, evaluate and develop opportunities to expand the Norton dealership network within your assigned territory
- Provide market insights, competitor intelligence and customer feedback to support business planning and commercial decision-making
- Represent Norton Motorcycles professionally at dealer meetings, events and other business activities as required

Requirements
We're looking for a commercially driven relationship manager with a passion for delivering results and building successful partnerships.
Essential
- Degree in Business Management or a related discipline, or a minimum of three years' experience in a comparable sales or account management role.
- Proven experience managing customer or dealer relationships and driving sales performance.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with strong planning and reporting capabilities.
- Full UK motorcycle licence.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
Desirable
- Experience within the motorcycle, automotive or wider powersports industry.
- Previous experience working with dealership or franchise networks.
- Experience working within a start-up or high-growth business environment.
- Passion for premium automotive or motorcycle brands.
