Job Description
Your Contribution:
As an Area Sales Manager within FLIR’s ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) business, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market presence across the Middle East, United Kingdom, and Nordic regions. You will manage partner relationships, develop new business opportunities, and support complex solution sales, working closely with regional stakeholders, product management, and technical teams. The role reports directly to the Sales Director ITS EMEA and supports strategic sales initiatives led by the regional leadership team.
What You Will Do
- Execute and manage the regional sales strategy for FLIR ITS solutions (e.g., AID, AI cameras in Urban and InterUrban, smart traffic systems)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, system integrators, end-customers, and public authorities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic projects in the assigned territories
- Support key sales activities in collaboration with the Senior Regional Manager
- Conduct customer and partner visits, solution presentations, demos, and technical/commercial negotiations
- Coordinate bid and tender processes with internal stakeholders (pre-sales, product, legal, finance)
- Maintain CRM hygiene, opportunity pipeline, and accurate forecasting
- Participate in trade fairs, roadshows, and webinars to represent FLIR ITS
- Provide market feedback and competitor insights into the product and strategy teams
- Travel (up to 50%) to the Middle East and Nordics regions

What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
- Sales experience in B2B sales, ideally in traffic, security, infrastructure, or industrial technology sectors
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex sales cycles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Language proficiency: English (fluent), Arabic (fluent); additional languages are a plus
- Ability to travel to the Middle East and Nordic regions
- Valid UK or EU driver’s license
- Knowledge of public tendering, ITS applications, or video-based sensing is an advantage
