Specification & Projects Manager
LOCATION - MIDLANDS
About Your Role:
As the Lighting Specification & Projects Manager, you'll take ownership of commercial lighting projects from initial specification through to delivery, acting as the key technical contact for customers and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. You'll also lead a specialist quotations and bespoke LED team, working closely with customers and internal departments to deliver tailored lighting solutions and an outstanding customer experience.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Manage lighting specifications across a range of commercial projects.
- Provide technical advice and product recommendations to customers.
- Oversee projects from specification through to order fulfilment and delivery.
- Build strong relationships with customers, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate projects with sales, production and logistics teams.
- Manage bespoke lighting solutions, including custom LED strip projects.
- Support tender submissions and ensure accurate project documentation.
- Lead, develop and motivate the Quotations & Bespoke LED team.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, quality and service delivery.

What Do I Need?
- Experience within the lighting industry or a technical specification environment.
- Previous experience managing customer projects or specifications.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading or mentoring a team would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
- A proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
