Area Sales Manager - East Anglia & Eastern Region

About the Role

Take over a well-developed territory with existing accounts, allowing you to focus on building relationships and driving organic growth rather than cold prospecting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop an established portfolio of customers across the region.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Increase customer retention through proactive account management.
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and CRM records.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

About You

  • Proven experience in field sales or account management looking after a portfolio of kitchen & bathroom showrooms, builders merchants &/or plumbers merchants.
  • Ideally you will have sold one or more of the products that they sell.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer retention skills.
  • Commercially minded with a track record of growing existing accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage a regional territory independently.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Package

  • Basic salary of up to £55,000 per year + uncapped commission (£10-20k realistic OTE)
  • Hybrid company car
  • Ongoing training and career development.
