Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and exceeding targets?

At Bostik, we're looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to manage and grow our customer base across a designated territory. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading brand and play a key role in driving revenue growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and introducing innovative products to the market.

Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, you'll enjoy the autonomy of managing your own territory while being supported by a collaborative and high-performing team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and deliver a territory plan to achieve and exceed sales, margin, MOVC and KPI targets.
  • Grow existing customer relationships whilst actively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new business and convert opportunities into profitable growth.
  • Promote and sell new product developments (NPD), helping customers understand the value of Bostik's innovative solutions.
  • Deliver engaging product training and demonstrations, highlighting features, benefits and brand strengths.
  • Work closely with customers to maximise product visibility and presentation, utilising available marketing and merchandising support.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, activity updates and opportunity tracking through Salesforce.
  • Effectively manage aged debt within your territory.
  • Represent Bostik professionally at all times, strengthening our reputation within the industry.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines commercial acumen with a passion for customer engagement.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a field-based sales role with a track record of delivering results.
  • Strong business and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong organisational and territory planning skills.
  • Self-motivated and highly disciplined when working independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce is advantageous.
