Our client is one of the UK's fastest-growing fire safety contractors, delivering specialist solutions across Fire Doors, Passive Fire Protection, Smoke Control Systems, Fire Alarms, Fire Curtains and Compliance Services.
We work with some of the UK's most recognised commercial, heritage, public sector and managing agent clients and are building a business focused on quality, client experience and long-term relationships.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a commercially driven, client-focused professional to join our team as a Area Sales Manager.
The Role
This is not a traditional sales role.
You will be the bridge between our clients and our technical delivery teams.
The role is focused on attending client sites, understanding requirements, surveying works, gathering information, building relationships and managing opportunities through the sales process.
You do not need to be an expert in every fire safety discipline. We have technical specialists and estimators to support you.
Instead, we're looking for someone who can confidently represent the company, build trust with clients, understand construction projects and ensure we have the right information to produce winning proposals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
