Remuneration: £44,000-£53,000 Neg. + Commission Scheme

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Door Hardware & Screens will involve:
- Field sales position selling a designed and manufactured range of door screens (for large openings) and architectural door hardware
- Door screens - Approx. 25% of your time focused on winning specifications with façade consultants with architects and 25% selling into specialist blind and curtain installers
- Remaining 50% of your time focused on selling our clients’ architectural hardware into joinery companies; joinery manufacturers, OEMs, fabricators, joiners etc.
- Supporting the existing UK sales representative by covering the North & Scotland (Scotland visits only 2/3 times per annum)
- Inhering a turnover of circa £500,000
- 50% of the role new business prospecting
- 50% managing our clients’ existing joinery customers (approx. 200, although some of these have lacked dedicated field sales representation/ dormant)

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Door Hardware & Screens with:
- Must have B2B field sales experience with building products, window & doors, facades or related products, ideally joinery related
- Must have sold to contractors/ installers and distribution
- Ideally with some architectural/ façade consultant specification field sales experience
- New business orientated
- Technical understanding and a practical aptitude
- Joinery industry experience preferred
- Autonomous and proactive
- Consultative and empathetic
