We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of specialist power solutions. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop new business and manage key customer relationships across the South East region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales professional with a strong background in large power generation hire, supplying solutions for industrial applications, data centres, and shore power projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow new business opportunities across the South East region.
- Manage and expand relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
- Promote large power generation hire solutions for industrial facilities, data centres, and shore power applications.
- Identify customer requirements and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends and competitor activity.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.

Requirements
- Proven experience in an Area Sales Manager or Business Development role.
- Strong background in large power generation hire, particularly generators in the 200–2,000 kVA range.
- Experience selling into industrial sectors, data centres, and/or shore power markets.
- Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently.
- Full UK driving licence.

What’s on Offer
- Competitive salary of £50,000–£60,000 per year.
- £15,000 on-target bonus, paid quarterly.
