Area Sales Manager (Remote) – Consumer Electronics Industry

MacGregor Black are seeking a driven Area Sales Manager to partner with a leading consumer electronics manufacturer and distributor for a remote-based role in West Yorkshire.

About the Role
We need a results-driven commercial professional to drive growth in our regional sales area, focusing on increasing the company's turnover, gross margins, and distribution network.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will:
- Operate within our brands’ processes to deliver sales and margin targets.
- Build strategic sales pipelines, fostering new leads and opportunities within independent accounts, wholesale, and national group accounts.
- Support sales across multiple brands and sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Development & Execution
- Develop and maximise profitable sales with existing customers across our portfolio of brands and products.
- Generate and secure new business, offering a pipeline of high-value sales opportunities.
- Sell multiple brands across diverse consumer electronics sectors to meet and exceed targets.
- Devise an Area Journey Plan to cover all trading accounts, ensuring consistent new business activity.
Strategic & Operational Accountability
- Plan a monthly diary to optimise customer-facing time and prioritise key account visits.
- Maintain up-to-date brand presentation materials for sales presentations.
- Analyse monthly business reports to assess regional performance, challenges, and successes.
- Process all sales orders through the designated sales office.

Relationship & Business Leadership
- Forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (negotiation to be agenda-led).
- Work autonomously using business best practices.
- Contribute to sales team discussions and collaborative solutions.
Requirements & Attributes
- Proven experience in selling high-value consumer goods across multiple sectors.
- Charismatic communicator, capable of engaging with all levels of stakeholders.
- Must embrace travel and remote work effectively due to the nature of the role.
- Possession of a full, clean driving license.
- Demonstrated success in account management and relationship development.
- High degree of self-motivation, comfortable working independently while tracking targets.
