Area Sales Manager – Midlands & Wales Region
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00 (37.5hrs)
Salary: Up to £50,000 (Circa depending on experience) + up to £10k bonus per annum & company car

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our Footsure team, developing and growing our customer base across the Midlands and Wales region. You’ll work with leading safety and workwear brands including Amblers, CAT, Muck Boots, Hard Yakka, Helly Hansen, Fento, Dunlop, Magnum, and Timberland Pro, helping customers find the right products while driving profitable growth across your territory.
What are we looking for in our Area Sales Manager?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven sales professional who will act as an ambassador for both Footsure and the brands we represent within the safety footwear and workwear Industry.

You’ll have proven experience in field sales, ideally within safety footwear, PPE, workwear, construction or a similar sector, with a strong track record of developing territories, growing existing accounts and winning new business.
What will the Area Sales Manager role entail?
As our Area Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of your territory, growing existing accounts, developing new business and building long-term customer relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and growing existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
- Achieving sales and margin targets across our portfolio of safety footwear and workwear brands.
- Planning your territory, providing sales forecasts and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service and account support.
- Representing Footsure at customer visits, trade shows and industry events while keeping up to date with market trends.
The ideal candidate will also:
- Experience managing and growing a sales territory, consistently achieving sales and margin targets.
- Confidence selling across multiple brands and distribution channels, including wholesale and dropship.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage your own workload.
- Comfortable analysing sales performance, producing forecasts and identifying commercial opportunities.
- Willingness to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight stays.
- Full UK driving licence.
