Overview

As an Area Sales Manager at Synapto, you will drive sales and revenue growth by:

  • Prospecting, acquiring, and managing client accounts in your assigned territory
  • Representing our modern payment solutions to eCommerce businesses, SaaS platforms, and merchants
  • Fostering relationships at all levels to deliver tailored financial solutions

This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with strong communication skills and deep industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation
    • Identify new opportunities within your territory via targeted prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Client Acquisition
    • Build relationships with B2B clients, understanding their payment needs and tailoring Synapto’s solutions.
  • Product Presentations
    • Deliver compelling demos showcasing our features, benefits, and value to prospective and existing clients.
  • Relationship Management
    • Act as a trusted advisor, maintaining long-term partnerships with clients, referrers, and partners.
  • Market Intelligence
    • Monitor industry trends, competition, and market shifts; share actionable insights to refine sales strategies.
  • Sales Reporting
    • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and forecasting via CRM or sales tools.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5+ years in sales, with 3+ years in payments or financial services.
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Strong grasp of payment tech, merchant services, and financial products.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
    • Self-driven, results-minded with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track Record:
    • Proven history of met/exceeded sales targets, driving revenue and customer retention.
  • Logistics:
    • Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel territorially as needed.
