Area Sales Manager – West Midlands & surrounding areas – Heavy Plant & Equipment
An exclusive opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive the sales of construction brands in a field-based role, suited to a motivated individual, with a proven track record in plant, construction, or heavy equipment sales being essential to this role.
Role: Area Sales Manager
Area: West Midlands & surrounding areas - Warwickshire, Worcester, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Birmingham
Salary: £50,000 per year + commission + benefits
The requirements of the Area Sales Manager will be:
- Contribute to the sales growth of the division by generating sales leads as a result of effective networking, referrals, and prospecting.
- Successfully identify, penetrate, and close business opportunities to an effective conclusion, whilst identifying and securing additional sales opportunities such as parts and service.
- Consistently achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with suppliers ensuring the correct specifications for an order are delivered to the customer.
- Actively develop a network of customer relationships with both new and existing clients.

The ideal candidate for Area Sales Manager will be:
- Experienced within the heavy plant sector, ideally within a machinery or parts sales role.
- Motivated & target-driven individual.
- Self-starter who is able to manage their own responsibilities and working day.
- Possesses a customer-focused mindset.
- Credible in sector knowledge.
- Flexible approach to work.
