Do you thrive on building relationships, winning new business, and helping independent retailers grow? We're recruiting an Area Sales Manager to join one of the UK's best-known brands. This is an exciting opportunity to inherit an established territory while also identifying new opportunities to drive growth across Scotland and the North East.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of independent retailers, developing long-term partnerships, and ensuring customers receive exceptional support.

- Growing sales within existing independent retail accounts
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities
- Delivering engaging product training to retail teams
- Negotiating showroom space and ensuring products are merchandised to the highest standard
- Using CRM to manage customer activity and sales opportunities
- Providing valuable market and competitor insights
This is a role for someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers face-to-face, and making a genuine impact.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:

- Experience in field sales, territory management, or area sales
- A proven track record of developing independent retail customers
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- A proactive approach to winning new business
- Excellent organization and CRM skills
- A full UK driving licence
Experience within furniture, flooring, interiors, or homewares would be highly advantageous, although we're open to talented field sales professionals from other sectors.
Salary
Circa £45,000 + Car + Bonus £15,000 + Pension
