This position reports to: Local Division Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop existing business and bring new business opportunities by supporting partners and customers through relevant knowledge and domain expertise.
- Support the defined customers and Sales organisation throughout the sales process in your assigned area.
- Showcase your expertise by participating in sales strategy discussions for the assigned area, focused on short and long-term goals and delivery of agreed sales targets.

Your Role and Responsibilities
- In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
- Work model: Home based with travel
- Creating and executing the sales plan for the area, working closely with partners and customers, driving demand for the UK drives business working within the local sales unit.
- Analysing customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and the information provided by the Sales organization.
- Ensuring efficient marketing actions (e.g., product launches) and communications to the Sales organization and customers, communicating the value proposition of the drives portfolio.
- Supporting the Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, as well as in the preparation of competitive/strategic offers.

Qualifications for the Role
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in driving sales growth, new business development, selective hunting and account management activities.
- More than 5 years of front-end customer facing sales experience.
- Strong customer and market focus, able to position the portfolio in a highly competitive market.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across sales teams and functions.
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- Proven experience in automation equipment including drives, PLCs and HMIs preferred.
- Candidates must have permission to work in the UK as no visa support etc. will be provided.
- Full U.K. Driving licence required.
