Job Title: External Sales
Location: External, South
Role Summary
Reporting directly to the External Sales Manager, the role is responsible for the area management of set accounts in a designated sales territory. It involves having regular proactive contact relationships with customers, including face-to-face meetings, video calls, and site visits where necessary, ensuring that DVS is represented in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Achieve individual sales/KPI target through maintaining and growing the current accounts customer base
- Develop and maintain an active project pipeline for the sales territory
- Ensure forecast is up to date through communication with sales management
- Maintain regular contact with key suppliers
- Work with other departments within DVS to ensure a smooth sales process
- Support the external team with any exhibitions, events, and meetings the business is undertaking, including nights away from home when necessary
- Travel to Cardiff Head Office whenever required
- Attend the weekly Monday group video/audio call with the external sales team
- Attend monthly sales meetings, with ongoing active involvement
- Ensure company values and behaviors are promoted
- Actively work together with regular communication and continued involvement with the external team leader/manager
- Make sure that all communication both up and down is delivered in the right way
- Continue to always work towards the DVS Mission/Vision
- Promote health and safety in the workplace

Experience
- Excellent professionalism and customer service
- Some knowledge of basic computing, IT literate
- Industry knowledge is a positive but not essential
- Proven experience in a sales environment would be preferred but not essential
