Job Description
Your contribution
As Area Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland you are a key player of the FLIR Europe Instrumentation Sales Team. You'll leverage your analytical prowess to scrutinize the assigned area, pinpointing gaps and untapped opportunities to strategically position our channel partner network. While adept distributor management is integral, this role extends beyond. You'll be at the helm of managing existing project pipelines, ensuring seamless operations and accurate forecasting.
The Sales team consists of 6 colleagues located all around Europe. Within the team, we have a lot of experience to tap if you show curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Your job in plain text
- Conduct thorough analyses of the assigned territory, placing a specific focus on identifying opportunities and challenges for effective channel partner management.
- Coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals
- Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements
- Educate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered
- Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop a positive working relationship with partners to build business.
- Stay current with the latest developments in the marketplace and competitor activities.
- Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities.
- Deliver customer presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences.

Travel 30 % of the time
To be ready to take on this role we would love if you have
- Excellent customer service attributes
- Solution orientation and resourcefulness
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience from a sales or service role is a strong plus but not a requirement
- A doer attitude that gets things done
- Fluent in English
- A current driving license
- Resident in the UK
