Area Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator

Area Sales & Marketing Coordinator – Field Based

About the Role

We're seeking an Area Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support our GMS (General Managers) across 12 pubs in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire. Due to the distributed nature of these locations, candidates must have the ability to travel between them.

The role will report directly to one of our Operations Managers.

You will drive local marketing and engagement, shape sales-focused strategies with creative licence, and collaborate closely with the General Managers of each unique pub business.

  • Digital & Social Marketing (60%)
  • Driving Sales & Marketing Engagement (20%)
  • Supporting Focus Pubs & CAPEX Projects (20%)

Key Responsibilities

Digital & Social Marketing (60%)

Website Management (Wordpress)

  • Own and optimise all pub websites within your area, ensuring them to be:

    • High-performing, premium, and representative of each pub’s distinct identity
    • Updated with key marketing campaigns (timely alignment with central Comms Plan captured)
    • SEO-optimised for maximum discoverability across search engines and AI platforms
    • Frictionless for users with booking flows streamlined for conversions
    • Featured business details prominently via copywriting that balances tone, USPs and SEO
  • Maintain up-to-date menus and diary/publication pages

  • Lead migration to higher-performing website templates when necessary

Email Marketing (CRM)

  • Deliver at least 3 email campaigns per pub per month, handling one of:
    • Copy/edits for centrally generated templates
    • Full campaign conception tailored to customer interests and booking history (personalisation key)
  • Continuously refine performance via data analytics for ongoing improvements

Social Media & Paid Campaigns

  • Oversee and upskill pub marketing teams to manage daily social media outputs:
    • Post on schedule, align content with campaign plans and each pub’s strategic vision
    • Monitor engagement metrics, ensuring social visibility and interaction thrive

  • Develop and execute local paid advertising strategies

  • Maintain all Google Business Profiles, ensuring data and imagery are accurate

  • Organise team-based pubs photoshoots (participation on-set required for set-up)

  • Coordinate outsourced influencer visits

  • Identify and drive local advertising/promotion opportunities


Drive Sales & Marketing Engagement (20%)

  • Champion central sales and marketing campaigns across pubs while supporting local initiatives
  • Land and embed pivotal campaigns, synchronising with individual pub visions
  • With GMS, co-create 90-day marketing plans tailored to drive sales, awareness and ROI

Support Focus Pubs & CAPEX Projects (20%)

  • Allocate targeted support to key focus pubs per quarter (per OM agreement with SMART targets)

    • Present forecasted progress at quarterly stand-up meetings
  • Craft marketing and launch strategies for CAPEX projects in collaboration with internal/external teams

Role Requirements

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Proven hospitality experience—with a passion for pubs!
  • Digital savvy
    • Wordpress content management (familiarity with page adjustments/system settings)
    • CRM familiarity (email templates/segmentation)
    • Collins (prior knowledge of restaurant management systems preferable)
    • Deep understanding of social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook etc.) and their marketing capabilities
  • Exceptional project management abilities, juggling competing engagement priorities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (ideally with both digital and fell-on-the-buzz pub-coach audiences)
  • Pragmatic problem solver, balancing speed with quality in a dynamic said environment
  • Striking ability to build rapport across levels, managing teams, GMs and perhaps future employeesps while maintaining amicable relationships
