Area Service Manager

Area Service Manager (Supported Living)

Covering: Cheshire, Merseyside, Staffordshire

Salary & Hours

£54,288–£57,135 per year (inc. Car Allowance: £8,445.03) 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Lead and Grow Services

  • Support and develop high-quality, sustainable care services across multiple locations
  • Identify growth opportunities and guide strategic planning for new/widening services
  • Oversee feasibility and implementation of acquisitions or innovations

Financial & Operational Excellence

  • Manage budgets and financial performance to meet targets
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for safe service delivery
  • Monitor trends/apps, auditing performance to drive continuous improvements

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership: ability to inspire, develop, and retain teams
  • Fast-paced role: manage conflicting demands efficiently
  • Organisations & multitasking: oversee disparate sites and objectives
  • Housing/care experience: background in supported living, retirement care, or regulatory standards
  • Financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, and performance tracking for multiple locations

Regulatory & Personal

  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, guidance, and best practices
  • Full UK driving licence & willingness to travel
  • Enhanced DBS check required (provided upon acceptance)
