Role Overview
As the Area Support Officer with the Building Surveying Team of Lancashire County Council Property Service, you will assist and support in the delivery of a qualitative and timely building cleaning and grounds maintenance service from both external and internal providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the contracts for each client within your specific geographic area, interrogating and improving the quality of the information for each contract to ensure that it is current and relevant and also address any issues, discrepancies and conflicts.
- Provide technical support and advice relating to building cleaning/caretaking and grounds related issues to schools and other establishments and will contribute to our commitment to maintaining and developing new business in relation to the provision of support services.
- Liaise with building surveyors, service providers, stakeholders, contractors and members of the business support team to ensure the data and information flowing through the contract management process is correct, up to date and allows the smooth delivery of the service.
- Understand building cleaning and grounds maintenance activates particularly in a school setting including their management and delivery, to enable you to effectively support the delivery of these contracts.
