Job Summary
HQ ARRC (Allied Rapid Reaction Corps) sits within the Land Forces Army structure which is part of the Army, a major part of the MOD. HQ ARRC provides NATO with a rapidly deployable, flexible HQ that can act as a Joint, Land or Corps HQ for operations and crisis response. Its multi-national ethos, combination of cultures and innovation, strong professional reputation in NATO and proven track record in interoperability are unique among its High Readiness Force (Land) peers.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Job Description
Responsible for the delivery of Discipline requirements across ARRC. Production and oversight of casework, discipline and health and well-being related to administrative action and service law casework and wider discipline issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a proportion of ARRCs Service Law, Warning & Sanction and Service Complaints casework, supporting fairness and parity of dealing by ensuring casework complies with Law, regulation and Army policies and procedures.
- Provide Direction and Guidance on casework in accordance with discipline policy.
- Manage the casework progression of any HQ ARRC internal discipline cases, including any liaison with Service Police, civilian police and other relevant agencies, including updates on IT systems.
- Assurance of Discipline (Service Law, Warning and Sanctions) casework in accordance with the Army Personal Services Group Assurance Framework.
- Preparation of Service Law and Warning and Sanctions casework for HQ ARRC personnel.
- Secretary for Discipline interviews as required.
- Deliver discipline training and briefs as required to units and Brigade staff to address any training gaps.
- Manage any ARRC Service Complaints as required, ensure they are investigated within timelines set out in the policy.
- Manage discipline statistics as required, including Compulsory Drug Testing and Discharges.
- Preparation of Bespoke Powers Certificates in accordance with policy requirements.

Essential Skills Required:
- Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines, demonstrating an ability to prioritise workload and work on multiple tasks at one time.
- Ability to engage and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, always maintaining professionalism.
- Adaptable team player, with experience of working collaboratively, but comfortable when working alone, with minimal direction.
- Have Microsoft Office experience, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
