We are seeking experienced Artic Flat Trailer Drivers to join our team at Hannon Steel. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and a reliable work ethic to support our Steel operations across Ireland. The current base location for this role is Nutts Corner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Transport Operations
- Operate articulated (CE) vehicles on assigned routes.
- Safely transport goods across designated routes within Ireland.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Follow planned routes and transport schedules.

Vehicle & Safety Compliance
- Conduct pre-journey walk-around vehicle inspections.
- Report defects or maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with driver hours legislation and tachograph regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and road transport regulations.
Customer Service & Communication
- Provide professional and courteous service at delivery and collection points.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and return paperwork on time.
- Communicate any delays, incidents, or operational issues to management promptly
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Essential
- Valid CE Driving Licence.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Desirable
- Previous experience driving articulated vehicles.
- Knowledge of Irish road networks.
- Experience in multi-drop or scheduled delivery operations.
- Previous Experience in Steel Transportation
