Artificial Intelligence Engineer
Job Title: AI Software Engineer Location: London or Cambridge, UK Type: Permanent
Our client are an international semiconductor company.
Responsibilities: Lead engineering efforts on complex research projects in machine learning and artificial intelligence Optimize algorithms and ensure the scalability and robustness of research prototypes and systems Coordinate closely with researchers to align engineering work with research objectives and project goals

Requirements: MSc in Computer Science or related subject Extensive experience researching machine learning algorithms and systems Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar Experience with optimization, reinforcement learning, and/or large language models (LLMs) Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX) Experience with scalable system design and deployment in research or production environments Exposure to chip design or applied AI research
