AI Engineer

The Role

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to join our AI product team and help build the next generation of intelligent products.

You’ll join a high-trust engineering environment where you’ll own the full journey, from designing solutions and building AI systems to deploying, scaling, and improving them in production.

Working with modern AI development practices, including agentic coding tools and spec-driven development, you’ll help turn ideas into reliable AI solutions that create real business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship AI-powered products and features from concept to production.
  • Design scalable AI systems using modern engineering practices.
  • Leverage agentic coding tools while maintaining strong engineering judgement and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape AI strategy.
  • Translate product requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions.
  • Make key architectural decisions around scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Deploy and operate AI systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Explore new AI models, frameworks, and tools to improve how we build.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
