Senior AI Software Engineer

We are looking for two Senior AI Software Engineers who will work fully remotely from the UK for a very well known London B2B - SaaS organisation. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll write production code every day, partner closely with Product and Design, and play a key role in defining how AI is embedded safely, reliably, and thoughtfully across their market leading platform.

These Senior AI Software Engineering positions will pay an annual salary range between £90,000 - £120,000 depending on experience. In addition, the Company offers a rewarding annual bonus scheme, excellent Company pension, full private health care (family members can be added at a small additional cost), educational budget and various other regional / personal benefits.

Unfortunately, VISA Sponsorship is not available and candidates must be based living in the UK without any working / living restrictions. From time to time you may be asked to visit the London office for training / collaboration days.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • TypeScript/Node fundamentals — production-grade experience as opposed to "worked with it once."
  • Full stack: API layer through to React clients.
  • Anthropic/Claude API experience — prompt construction, tool/function calling, structured output, streaming, MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  • PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations, multi-tenant isolation. Azure-hosted Postgres specifically is a plus, not a requirement!
  • Comfort in greenfield, no-playbook environments — self-directed, able to make judgment calls without an established pattern to copy.

Additional Experience Required

  • Testing and CI discipline as a default habit, not an afterthought.
  • Security depth that's threat-modeled to the actual product, not generic hardening — e.g. SSRF-guarding server-side fetches of user-supplied URLs, signed/hashed share tokens, reasoning through XSS/sandbox tradeoffs rather than defaulting to a template.
  • Genuine MCP design sophistication — real OAuth (not bearer tokens), understanding of session/transport constraints (e.g. why an MCP server can't run stateless on serverless infra), and architectural judgment about where core logic lives across surfaces.
  • Honest, precise self-assessment — looking for candidates that clearly state what they deferred and why, rather than overselling scope.
  • AI-augmented development fluency — actually using Claude Code day to day, not just aware of it.
