Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Implementation
- Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions aligned with Army training objectives and OMNIA architecture principles.
- Ensure emerging AI tools and platforms are evaluated forВоенные training applications.

ML Pipeline Management
- Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, including:
- Data pre-processing & feature engineering
- Model training, validation, and performance evaluation
- Continuous monitoring & tuning for operational effectiveness

- Partner with data engineers, software teams, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable AI components.
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences via demos and briefings.

Who We’re Looking For
You’re a mission-driven problem-solver, driven by collaboration—not bureaucracy. Your mindset keeps construction and lessons central. You prioritise what needs to happen over procedural hurdles, and your ability to transfer insights across the OMNIA team is a catalyst for progress.
The ideal candidate will excite challenges in the Army’s training evolution—directly shaping AI/ML integration, data pipelines, deployment workflows, and ethical practices. While ensuring on-trend software engineering practices and maintaining operational relevance.
Essential Skills & Experience
✅ Technical Proficiencies
- Python as a core language for AI/ML development.
- Hands-on ML framework expertise (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- ML pipeline design and deployment (data ingestion, pre-processing, training, evaluation → production).
- Proficiency in model validation, performance metrics, and tuning strategies.
- Experience integrating AI via APIs/microservices (REST, gRPC, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative CI/CD workflows.
- Cloud/controlled compute resources’ configuration or utilisation (AWS, Azure, on-premises).
- Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and secure packaging for deployment.
- Secure coding principles, data protection compliance (GDPR/DjD).
- Documentation for technical audits, maintainability, and stakeholder support.
