Role Description

This is a Part time, Hybrid role based in London for an Artist Manager & Plugger at RBK London. The role involves managing relationships with artists and guiding them in their professional journey. Responsibilities include:

  • Offering strategic career advice
  • Coordinating events or releases
  • Pitching music to industry stakeholders
  • Creating promotional opportunities
  • Building partnerships with media outlets
  • Leveraging networks to gain exposure for artists
  • Developing promotional strategies for their music

We are looking for a candidate who specializes in the urban, garage, R&B, pop, and hip hop genres and has managed artists in these areas.

We are looking for a candidate who has a basic understanding of disability awareness when it comes to working with music artists with disabilities and what works around their needs.

Job Description

  • Networking and building relationships with radio stations (securing radio play)
  • Experience in Radio Promotion, relationships with radio broadcasters, and creating effective radio plugging strategies
  • Release Planning (Goal setting for the Releases & Scouting between CEO Employer & Employee)
  • Talent & A&R scouting, contacting Artists for potential signings and deals for artist development
  • Risk assessment
  • Organising the artist's schedule
  • Plugging live gigs and performances for artists
  • Strategising & managing artists' releases
  • Attending meetings with potential artists & management team when required

We are looking for a motivated professional who is a self-starter, loyal, and able to work using their own initiative as well as being able to work part as a team.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Job Type: Hybrid

Weekly Rate:

  • Minimum 6 hours of present meetings time required. + additional days when required for individual meetings with artists and bookings for gigs and shows

Hybrid Locations

You will be a creative professional who is motivated and a self-starter, loyal, and able to work using your own initiative as well as being able to work part as a team.

Pay: Weekly £150 per week

Schedule:

  • Part time
  • Remote Hybrid
  • In office / Minimum 6 hours of present meetings time required. + additional days when required for individual meetings with artists and bookings for gigs and shows

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be registered as self-employed as this is a self-employed position
