Role Description
This is a Part time, Hybrid role based in London for an Artist Manager & Plugger at RBK London. The role involves managing relationships with artists and guiding them in their professional journey.
Responsibilities
- Offer strategic career advice
- Coordinate events or releases
- Pitch music to industry stakeholders
- Create promotional opportunities
- Build partnerships with media outlets
- Leverage networks to gain exposure for artists
- Develop promotional strategies for their music
- Networking and building relationships with radio stations (securing radio play)
- Experience in Radio Promotion, relationships with radio broadcasters, and creating effective radio plugging strategies
- Release Planning (Goal setting for the Releases & Scouting between CEO Employer & Employee)
- Talent & A&R scouting, contacting Artists for potential signings and deals for artist development
- Risk assessment
- Organising the artists schedule
- Plugging live gigs and performances for artists
- Strategising & managing artists releases
- Attending meetings with potential artists & management team when required

Requirements
- Specialises in the urban, garage, R&B, pop, and hip hop genres and have managed artists around that genre.
- Basic understanding of disability awareness when it comes to working with music artists with disability and what works around their needs.
- Motivated professional who is a self-starter, loyal, and able to work using your own initiative as well as being able to work part as a team.
- Candidate must be registered as self-employed as this is a self-employed position.
