Art Manager (Built Environment)

Are you passionate about the role art can play in health and wellbeing? Do you have experience commissioning innovative artworks for built environments? Do you believe art can transform the hospital experience for children and their families?

GOSH Arts is seeking an Art Manager (Built Environment) to join the team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of ambitious art commissions linked to redevelopment and capital projects across the Trust, while also managing the GOSH Art Collection. The successful candidate will have experience working with artists to develop and deliver artworks in public settings and be confident managing projects involving multiple stakeholders. You will understand the value of creative consultation and co-design and how these approaches can strengthen project outcomes.

While previous experience in a healthcare setting is not essential, you should demonstrate awareness of the challenges and opportunities that are associated with commissioning artwork in a paediatric hospital.

Due to an anticipated high volume of applications, we are unable to offer site visits. To learn more about GOSH Arts, please visit our website and Instagram. If, after reading the Job Description and Person Specification, you have any questions, please contact kate.phillimore@gosh.nhs.uk

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
