Description Overview
Job Title: Packaging Artwork Coordinator Location: Barnsley, UK (Hybrid working model)
Role Summary: Join Perrigo’s UK Supply Chain team in Barnsley, as part of our Pharmaceutical Artwork function. You’ll coordinate artwork changes from briefing to print-ready approvals, ensuring packaging meets regulatory, technical, and design requirements. Collaborate with teams such as Regulatory, Design, Commercial, Planning, Procurement, and Data, and external partners, to deliver compliant packaging for our OTC (over-the-counter) products.
Your role will involve overseeing packaging updates, supporting product launches, handling redesigns, and implementing safety changes for major retailers like Boots and Morrisons.
Scope of the Role
- End-to-end coordination:
- Manage the artwork process from brief to print, ensuring compliance with regulations and print standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for artwork, layout, and design queries.

Review and pre-production management:
- Manage artwork reviews, pre-press instructions, and final production readiness checks.
- Provide regular progress updates on timelines and deliverables.

Issue resolution:
- Identify and resolve design or printing issues in collaboration with stakeholders.

Stakeholder and partner management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and external vendors.

Performance tracking:
- Ensure artwork changes adhere to KPIs, and proactively communicate delays.

Administrative support:
- Assist packaging management with tasks such as case studies, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Continuous improvement:
- Support deviation processes and change control initiatives.
Experience Required
Essential
Must-haves for this role:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellence in customer service.
- Exceptional attention to detail for repetitive, high-precision tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and investigative abilities.
- Advanced technical skills (including MS Office Suite), and comfortable verbally and in writing with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Abilities to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
Desirable
Bonus points for experience in:
- Any Supply Chain roles.
- The pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
- Experience in design, printing, or packaging coordination.
- Proofreading or attention to detail-heavy documentation.
