Asbestos Analyst – North West / Manchester Area
Location: North West / Manchester Area (Office Base: Preston Brook) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive + Benefits
About the Role
Lucion is a purpose-driven environmental consultancy helping organisations manage risk, protect people, and create safer environments. We are looking for an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join our Hazardous Materials team, supporting projects across the North West and surrounding regions.
This is a field-based role suited to a qualified analyst who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, maintaining compliance, and supporting clients through professional asbestos management services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct air monitoring and airborne fibre counting in accordance with current legislation and guidance.
- Complete 4-Stage Clearances (4SC) and provide clearance certification where appropriate.
- Inspect asbestos removal works and assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Accurately record site information and produce reports using our digital reporting systems.
- Maintain compliance with HSG248, HSE guidance, and company quality procedures.
- Build positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest professional standards.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications (or RSPH equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of HSG248 and asbestos legislation.
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Analyst.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Flexibility to travel and undertake occasional out-of-hours work.
