Responsibilities
As an Asbestos Analyst, your role is integral to our daily operations and directly impacts both performance and client success. Your responsibilities include:
- Carrying out four-stage clearances in line with HSG248 guidance.
- Conducting background, reassurance, leak, and personal air monitoring in compliance with industry standards.
- Performing visual inspections and site audits on asbestos removal projects.
- Producing accurate, detailed analytical reports and technical documents.
- Working across varied clients and environments, including:
- Commercial sites
- Residential developments
- Industrial facilities
- Public sector projects
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with clients, contractors, and site stakeholders.
- Ensuring full compliance with company protocols, UKAS requirements, and all relevant UK legislation.
- Supporting and mentoring trainee analysts as needed.
- Contributing to continuous improvement, compliance, and quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements
We’re seeking an experienced, detail-oriented professional who expedites results with pride. Ideal candidates will have:
- BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent in scope and recognition).
- Substantial prior experience as an Asbestos Analyst in relevant environments (domestic, commercial, or industrial).
- Strong understanding of HSG248 and the latest UK asbestos legislation.
- Practical experience conducting four-stage clearances and air monitoring activities.
- A valid UK driving licence (essential for site travel).
- An acute sense of accountability and high attention to detail.
