Asbestos Consultant (Midlands)

Experienced Asbestos Consultant – Career Opportunity with EDP

Working with EDP, a leading provider of asbestos risk management solutions across sectors including construction, healthcare, education, and local government, you’ll support national and local clients with expert compliance services in a client-focused, dynamic environment.


What’s On Offer

  • Salary: £33,000–£36,000 per annum

About EDP

EDP prioritises doing things the right way—as the asbestos compliance specialists within a broader property risk management group, you’ll work alongside cross-disciplinary experts to deliver tailored, trustworthy solutions for organisations across the UK.


Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert asbestos consultancy services as part of a collaborative, client-facing team, including:

  • Conducting asbestos surveys, reinspections, and bulk sampling
  • Performing air monitoring and issuing Certificates of Re-Occupation & Statements of Cleanliness
  • Advising clients on compliance, regulations, and remediation strategies
  • Writing clear, accurate reports and maintaining high-quality documentation
  • Fostering strong client relationships and ensuring service excellence

Who We’re Looking For

A proactive, detail-oriented professional who:

  • Thrives in a team environment and takes pride in excellence
  • Holds relevant BOHS P-Certifications or equivalent
  • Possesses at least 12 months of UKAS-accredited experience
  • Holds a full manual UK driving license (travel is required)
  • Is flexible to work weekends/unsocial hours when needed
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organisation, and technical skills
  • Comfortably uses handheld devices and MS Office tools
