Penguin Recruitment is supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy based in Birmingham as they seek a dual-qualified professional.
This excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join in Birmingham, working across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites. This role delivers a varied workload, job security, and genuine long-term career progression in a supportive work environment.

As the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will perform a balanced mix of surveying and analytical tasks, ensuring high-quality asbestos services compliance with current legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
- Conducting air monitoring, including 4-stage clearances and reoccupation certification
- Performing bulk sampling while adhering to company procedures
- Generating accurate asbestos reports following HSG264 and HSG248 guidance
- Managing workloads across multiple client sites
- Facilitating communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring high health & safety and quality assurance standards
Requirements
For consideration for this role, prospective candidates must:
- Hold BOHS P402, P403, and P404 qualifications (essential)
- Possess a full UK driving licence
- Have previous experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements
- Exhibit a professional, organised, and reliable approach to work
- Showcase excellent communication and client-facing skills
