Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Thetford
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS:accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Norfolk and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking to join a respected consultancy offering a structured workload, minimal overnight travel, and genuine long-term job security. Focusing exclusively on domestic asbestos surveying, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys residential projects and values consistency in their day-to-day work.
The Role
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across domestic and residential properties throughout Norfolk and the surrounding areas.

Working independently with the support of an established operations team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation and industry guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Surveying domestic and residential properties across Norfolk and surrounding areas
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling and ensuring company procedures are followed correctly
- Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
- Managing your own diary with support from an established operations team
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety and quality assurance
What We're Looking For

- BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
- Experience carrying out domestic asbestos surveys is preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
