Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: London

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team covering London and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified professional looking to join a respected consultancy offering a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial and mixed-use environments. The Role

As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will carry out both surveying and analytical duties across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties throughout London.

Working independently and as part of an experienced team, you will deliver high-quality asbestos services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
  • Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing, and reassurance sampling
  • Working across commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties
  • Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
  • Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Managing your own workload effectively across multiple client sites
  • Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

What We're Looking For

  • BOHS P402, P403, and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role
  • Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage your workload independently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
  • Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
