Bridgestaff Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing environmental consultancy that is looking to add an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Asbestos Analyst, or Dual Trained to its expand the team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of asbestos surveying and analytical duties, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards while delivering an excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
- Undertake air monitoring, fibre counting and four-stage clearances
- Conduct visual inspections of asbestos enclosures
- Independently manage asbestos removal projects
- Complete contractor audits and remediation inspections
- Accurately record site information using tablet-based reporting software
- Provide professional technical advice and build strong client relationships
- Ensure compliance with current asbestos legislation and industry standards

What We're Looking For
- BOHS P402 or P403 & P404 qualifications (or RSPH equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of asbestos legislation and industry best practice
- Experience using tablet-based reporting systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable
- Experience working for a UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy
- Enhanced DBS
- Additional Health & Safety qualifications such as PASMA, IPAF, Confined Space, or First Aid
