Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: East Kilbride
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading UKAS:accredited environmental consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team covering East Kilbride and the wider Scotland region.

The Role
As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will carry out both surveying and analytical duties across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects throughout Scotland.
Working independently and as part of an experienced technical team, you will deliver high:quality asbestos services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Undertaking air monitoring, 4:stage clearances, and reoccupation certification in line with HSG248
- Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
- Supporting asbestos management and technical problem:solving activities
- Conducting technical reviews of reports and air monitoring documentation
- Working on large industrial surveys and complex asbestos enclosure projects
- Liaising with clients on technical and legislative matters
- Supporting business development activities where required
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety and ensuring compliance with current asbestos legislation and UKAS procedures

What We're Looking For
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
- Experience carrying out air testing and 4:stage clearances
- Strong experience working in a dual Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst role
- Experience working on industrial and complex asbestos projects
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible approach to travel and occasional stay:away work
- Professional, organised, and confident communication skills
