We’re currently looking for a Dual-Trained Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join our Hazardous Materials team in Birmingham. This is a field-based role offering variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across the region.

What You'll Be Doing
This is a varied, hands-on role where your expertise directly supports safer buildings and better decision-making.
You Will
- Carry out asbestos surveys including management, refurbishment, demolition and asbestos in the ground surveys.
- Undertake asbestos air monitoring, airborne fibre counting, contractor inspections and 4-stage clearance testing.
- Collect accurate site information using our digital systems and produce clear, comprehensive reports.
- Provide professional technical advice to clients, contractors and project teams.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and compliance in line with HSG248, HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
- Represent Lucion professionally on client sites, building strong relationships through reliable and trusted service delivery.
About You
You know the responsibility that comes with asbestos work and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality results.
You’ll Ideally Have
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent RSPH qualifications/Certificates of Competence).
- Experience working as a dual-trained Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
- A strong working knowledge of HSG248, HSG264 and current asbestos regulations.
- The ability to work independently, manage your workload and use sound technical judgement.
- A full UK manual driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Birmingham area and wider region when required.
