We’re currently looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to join our Hazardous Materials team in Reading. This is a field-based role, working across a variety of commercial, industrial and public sector environments where your expertise will make a genuine difference.

You Will
- Carry out asbestos surveys including management, refurbishment and demolition surveys.
- Complete asbestos sampling and assessments, accurately identifying potential asbestos-containing materials.
- Collect detailed site information using our digital systems and produce clear, comprehensive survey reports.
- Provide professional advice and guidance to clients, contractors and project teams.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with HSG264, current legislation and Lucion’s high standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients by delivering reliable, professional surveying services.
About You
You understand the responsibility that comes with asbestos surveying and take pride in getting the details right.
You’ll Ideally Have
- BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent RSPH qualification/Certificate of Competence).
- Experience completing asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys.
- A good working knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate technical reports.
- A full UK manual driving licence and the flexibility to travel across Reading and surrounding areas when required.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a professional technical team.
