Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Glasgow
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering the Central Belt of Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor looking to join a respected consultancy offering a structured workload, regional coverage, and genuine long-term career stability. With a strong pipeline of commercial work, clear operational processes, and supportive management, this role provides an excellent environment for surveyors who take pride in delivering high-quality work.
The Role
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out asbestos surveys across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and public sector properties throughout the Central Belt.

Working independently and with the support of an experienced operations team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering Management, Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Working across commercial, industrial, and public sector properties
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling in accordance with company procedures
- Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
- Managing your own workload effectively across multiple client sites
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance

What We're Looking For
- BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
- Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
