Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Aberdeen
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Aberdeen.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation across the UK. The successful candidate will undertake a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across a varied portfolio of commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties throughout Aberdeen and the surrounding region.
The Role
As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering both asbestos surveying and analytical services to a high professional standard while ensuring full compliance with current HSE guidance and UKAS procedures.

Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will manage a varied workload across multiple client sites while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248
- Producing accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
- Collecting bulk samples and maintaining accurate site records
- Working across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS standards

What We're Looking For
- BOHS P402, P403, and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and UKAS requirements
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
