The Role

Due to business growth, we are looking to expand our Aseptic Services Unit. Our Aseptic Compounding Technicians manufacture Parenteral Nutrition products within a modern aseptic environment, ensuring all compounding activities are completed safely, accurately and in full compliance with current GMP and aseptic processing standards. Training associated with this role is externally accredited at a Level 3 Award in Aseptic Compounding.

This role will be 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday, working alternating shift patterns of 6am – 2pm, alternating with 2pm – 10pm on a weekly basis and it will be based in Runcorn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and aseptically compound parenteral nutrition batches in accordance with approved formulations, SOPs and batch documentation via semi-automated or manual production processes.
- Operate within Grade A/B cleanroom environments using Laminar Flow Cabinets (LFCs) or Restricted Access Barrier System’s (RABS) in line with modern aseptic practices.
- Execute compounding activities in line with the daily production plan to meet schedule adherence and individual targets.
- Demonstrate personal discipline and adhere strictly to cleanroom behaviours procedure, gowning procedures and contamination control strategy.
- Support environmental monitoring and ensure work areas are maintained to required standards.
- Complete all batch documentation in line with cGMP, data integrity and traceability requirements.
- Verify batch records and ensure all processing steps are accurately captured and compliant.
- Identify and escalate deviations, errors or non-conformances in line with quality system.
- Promote a culture of quality, aseptic discipline, and patient focus within the ASU.

Qualifications/Experience
- Understanding of GMP and aseptic processing principles.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience in aseptic compounding or sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.
