The applications for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Internship Program 2021/2022 is currently open. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking interested and eligible individuals to apply for its 2021/2022 internship programs. The ADP internship program is a project-oriented learning opportunity for eligible applicants to gain experience through research assignments based on ADB’s current operational needs. Two batches of internships are usually available throughout the year for interesting, motivated, and self-directed individuals to apply for.

With the goal to offer graduate students an opportunity to work on project-oriented assignments in a major international institution, under the supervision of experienced professionals from many different countries, the ADB Internship Programs equally come along with many other benefits. - Open for: Postgraduates only (Masters/PhD)

- Internship Duration: 8 and 26 weeks.

Application Period for the 2021 Internship Program
- 1st batch: 15 July to 15 September 2021. On board: January 2022 onwards
- 2nd batch: 1 December 2021 to 31 January 2022. On board: June 2022 onwards
Eligibility Criteria for ADB Internship Programs
To be eligible for the ADB internship program, interested applicants:
- Must be enrolled in a Master's- or PhD-level program at a school in one of the ADB member nations, both prior to and after the internship assignment.
- Must be engaged in academic study in a field directly related to ADB's work.
- Must be a national of one of ADB's members.
- Applicant must possess an excellent command of English.
- Applicant must have professional experience relevant to the assignment.
- Applicant must not be a close relative of ADB personnel.

The whole application process is done online. Eligible applicants are expected to apply via the ADB Career and Employment System (ACES). To apply:

Asian Development Bank will evaluate all submitted applications based on:
- Eligibility requirements
- Relevance of academic study and work experience
- The level of interest and motivation to contribute to development work
ADB also considers institutional representation, gender, and nationality balance in the overall intern selection process.
