As our ASO Manager, you’ll play a key part in delivering supergrowth across our organic app store listings and will be key to taking us to the next level of ASO performance.

What you’ll do

Key Responsibilities

Global Portfolio Leadership

  • Own and manage ASO performance across global markets, with priority focus on the UK, Ireland, Canada, Spain, Germany, Mexico, MENA, Africa, and emerging markets
  • Direct control of ASO strategy and optimisation for:
    • Betway International
    • Betway Africa
    • SPIN Casino

Additional Super Group Support

  • Provide ASO training, guidance, and strategic consultation across:

    • Betway Scores
    • Jumpman
  • Operate across a complex, multi-brand, multi-region ecosystem to ensure alignment and scalability

Strategic ASO Ownership

  • Define and lead the global ASO strategy across all portfolios
  • Establish and scale optimisation frameworks, testing roadmaps, and governance processes
  • Own global standards for:
    • Metadata optimisation
    • Creative strategy and store assets
    • Conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
  • Drive continuous experimentation, innovation, and insight generation
  • Identify growth opportunities across markets, including localisation and emerging market expansion

Team Leadership

  • Directly line manage ASO Leads and ASO Specialists across Betway and SPIN portfolios
  • Set clear objectives, priorities, and performance standards for the team
  • Provide coaching, development, and ongoing performance management
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and team scaling initiatives
  • Foster a high-performance culture with strong accountability and collaboration

Data, Insights & Performance

  • Own ASO measurement frameworks and global KPI tracking, including:
    • Install growth (organic and out-of-store)
    • Store conversion rate (CVR)
    • Keyword visibility and rankings
    • Ratings and reviews
  • Develop and oversee reporting dashboards and performance reviews
  • Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and category trend assessment
  • Translate data into actionable insights to inform strategy and prioritisation

Cross-Functional & Cross-Brand Collaboration

  • Partner with SEO, Product, CRM, Marketing, Creative, and regional teams to align ASO with broader acquisition strategies
  • Support app launch strategies, market expansion, and localisation efforts
  • Ensure compliance with platform policies and regional regulatory requirements
  • Act as the ASO subject matter expert across the Super Group ecosystem, driving best practice adoption

Success Measures

  • Growth in organic and total installs across key markets
  • Improvements in store conversion rates and keyword visibility
  • Successful rollout of global ASO frameworks and processes
  • Team performance, development, and retention
  • Effective cross-functional alignment and delivery of shared growth objectives

This role is critical in scaling ASO into a key growth channel for the business, ensuring consistent global standards while enabling local market success. This list covers your core responsibilities – with plenty of room to stretch, explore, and take on new challenges as we grow.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types, and market trends
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
  • Proven experience in ASO strategy and execution across multiple markets
  • Strong understanding of app store algorithms, keyword optimisation, and conversion drivers
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Highly analytical with strong data interpretation skills
  • Ability to operate across multiple brands and stakeholders in a global environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
