About the Opportunity
EdEx are collaborating with a community-focused Primary School in Tower Hamlets, which fosters an inclusive, supportive, and joyful learning environment. The school prioritises both academic and personal success for every child.
They are seeking a Psychology Graduate to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate eager to gain long-term experience supporting children with SEN (Special Educational Needs), additional needs, emotional, and mental health challenges across KS1 and KS2.
Your key responsibility will be to:
- Support pupils academically, emotionally, and socially
- Foster a calm, positive, and nurturing learning environment through individualised approaches

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Support
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with:
- Autism, ADHD
- Speech and Language needs
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) challenges
- Learning difficulties
- Offer tailored academic, emotional, and social support
- Collaborate with class teachers on lessons, routines, and behaviour management
- Ensure pupils feel safe, confident, and ready to learn
Logistics & Remuneration
- Hourly rate: £110–£115 per day
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (full-time)
- Start date: September 2026 (full academic year)
Location: Borough of Tower Hamlets
About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Transformational at someone with a Psychology degree from a UK-accredited university
- Preferred progression: 1st Class or 2:1 degree
- Desirable: Prior experience in
- Childcare
- SEN settings
- Tutoring, mentoring, or youth work
