Location: Camden, North London
Pay: £100 per day PAYE
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Are you an Aspiring Educational Psychologist looking to gain practical school-based experience before progressing into Educational Psychology training, postgraduate study, or a career supporting vulnerable children?
Ribbons & Reeves are recruiting ambitious graduates to work in schools across Camden, supporting pupils with additional learning, social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.
Aspiring Educational Psychologist The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
- Support children with SEND, SEMH, behavioural needs, and barriers to learning.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionals.
- Help pupils access learning, build confidence, regulate emotions, and stay engaged in school.
- Gain hands-on experience with intervention work, behaviour support, safeguarding, and inclusive classroom practice.
- Work full-time, Monday to Friday, during term-time from September 2026.

Aspiring Educational Psychologist Ideal Candidate
- A graduate with a Psychology degree or closely related subject.
- A clear interest in becoming an Educational Psychologist.
- Motivated to gain school-based experience supporting vulnerable children before further training.
- Calm, resilient, patient, and confident working with pupils who may present challenging behaviour.
- Previous experience with children, young people, SEN, SEMH, or vulnerable individuals is desirable.
- Able to commit to a full-time, term-time role in Camden from September 2026.
