We are collaborating with a highly regarded primary school in Ealing seeking confident and motivated graduates for full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) roles. Ideal for Aspiring Educational Psychologists


About the Role

Aspiring Educational Psychologist

This is an excellent opportunity to build practical experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEND)—a crucial step toward a career in Educational Psychology.

Responsibilities

  • Support students aged 4–16 with diverse needs, including:
    • Autism
    • ADHD
    • Learning difficulties

  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions, helping pupils:

    • Access learning effectively
    • Develop essential skills
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to:

    • Implement individual education plans (IEPs)
    • Ensure tailored support
  • Observe, record, and reflect on pupil progress

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment


Requirements

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology (or a closely related subject)
  • Prior experience supporting children or young people with SEND (previously in school, care, or voluntary contexts is highly beneficial)
  • A calm, empathetic, and reflective approach to supporting pupils
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for child development
  • Clear ambition to pursue a career in Educational Psychology
