Aspiring Educational Psychologist - What the Role Involves
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of complex SEN needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and communication difficulties
- Contributing to the observation, assessment, and monitoring of pupils' cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Supporting the implementation of strategies outlined in pupils' Education, Health and Care Plans under SENDCO guidance
- Attending and contributing to multi-agency review meetings, EHCP annual reviews, and pastoral support planning
- Maintaining detailed, reflective records of pupil responses and progress to inform wider school and EP team planning
Aspiring Educational Psychologist - What the School is Looking For
The ideal Aspiring Educational Psychologist will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree in Psychology from a top 30 UK university - BPS accreditation is strongly preferred. Previous child-centred experience working with pupils with SEN or complex needs in a UK school or educational setting is essential. The school is seeking a reflective, intellectually curious, and compassionate Aspiring Educational Psychologist with strong observational skills, excellent written communication, and a clear and committed pathway towards formal EP training.

Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Salary and Contract Info
- £450 to £530 per week, pro rata to term time only
- Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
- Term-time only
