Responsibilities:
- Support: Aspiring English Teacher will support pupils across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
- Interventions: Deliver targeted interventions to raise attainment in English Language and Literature
- Teaching: Aspiring English Teacher will work with small groups and individual students to accelerate progress
- Assistance: Assist teachers with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom delivery
- Exam Preparation: Support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
- Skills Development: Aspiring English Teacher will help foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking
Requirements:
- Education: Aspiring English Teacher applicants should hold a minimum 2:1 degree in English or a related subject
- Results: Strong GCSE and A-Level results are highly desirable
- Experience: Previous experience working with young people is advantageous
- Skills: Aspiring English Teacher candidates should possess excellent communication and organisational skills
