A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Neasden, Brent is looking for an Aspiring Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, personable and academically strong graduate from a top UK university who is keen to gain meaningful classroom experience before progressing into teacher training.
This Aspiring Primary Teacher role offers daily exposure to outstanding primary practice, close guidance from experienced teachers and the chance to build confidence working with children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2. As an Aspiring Primary Teacher, you will support pupils within the classroom, assist with phonics, reading, writing and maths, and work with children who need additional academic or pastoral support. The school has around 573 pupils on roll and performs strongly at KS2, with 69% of pupils meeting the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths.
The school is looking for an Aspiring Primary Teacher who can bring energy, maturity and excellent communication skills to the classroom. You should be proactive, reliable and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
The successful Aspiring Primary Teacher will:
- Hold a strong degree from a top UK university
- Have previous child-centred experience, such as tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering or youth work
- Be bright, articulate, emotionally intelligent and serious about becoming a teacher
- Be confident supporting pupils with different learning needs, including SEN and EAL
